Anti-sniping
A bid placed inside the final 3 minutes of this lot extends its close by a further 3 minutes, from the moment of the bid, and does so again for every bid inside the window. Only this lot is extended; the rest of the sale runs on. The rule exists so that a lot is won by the highest bidder rather than by whoever has the fastest connection in the last two seconds. The countdown above shows the extension as it happens.

Catalogue note
A honest example with an unpolished case, the lugs retaining their original chamfers. The dial has toned to a warm cream and is entirely original; the department has not seen a redial and states so. On a later strap with a replacement buckle.

Running at the time of cataloguing and the chronograph functions engage correctly, but the watch has not been serviced during the present ownership and no guarantee is given as to timekeeping. Case unpolished with light wear. Crystal with fine scratching. The strap and buckle are replacements. Sold not running to any warranted standard, as is customary.
